Steven P. Franzen, CPA, PFS, CGMA is a trusted advisor to closely held businesses and high-net-worth individuals, with more than 30 years of experience in tax planning, business advisory, and wealth strategy. He specializes in entity structuring, advanced tax planning, and multigenerational wealth transfer, helping clients minimize tax exposure while aligning financial decisions with long-term objectives.
As Founder and Managing Partner of Vertex Accounting Partners, LLC, Steve is dedicated to delivering proactive, high-value advisory services. He is guided by the principle that a client’s investment in their CPA should yield a measurable return, and he works closely with clients to navigate complex financial matters and capitalize on strategic opportunities.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant and holds both the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designations. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Millikin University.
Steve and his wife, Kristie, reside in Sugar Grove, Illinois, and are the proud parents of three adult children.
