Mike joined the Vertex family in August 2015, bringing seven years of experience with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent in the Small Business/Self-Employed (SB/SE) division, where he served in both Phoenix, Arizona and Schiller Park, Illinois. In 2025, he was advanced to Partner and currently serves as Director of Business Services, leading client-facing advisory initiatives and operational support.
Mike specializes in bookkeeping, individual and business tax compliance, and assisting clients with a wide range of federal and state tax resolution matters.
He resides in Warrenville, Illinois, with his wife, Johna, where they are raising their three children, who attend or have attended schools in the CUSD 200 district.
